Governor Henry McMaster 

Henry McMaster, the 117th Governor of South Carolina, boasts a distinguished career marked by unwavering commitment to public service and leadership. Ascending to the governorship in 2017, McMaster's tenure has been characterized by a steadfast focus on economic development, job creation, and advancing the state's infrastructure. A champion of conservative values, he has consistently advocated for policies aimed at bolstering South Carolina's economy, ensuring public safety, and fostering a thriving environment for businesses. 

 

Born in Columbia, McMaster earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and later graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law. His journey in public service began early, serving as a legislative assistant to a U.S. Senator and later as the U.S. Attorney for South Carolina. McMaster's political career flourished as he served as the Attorney General of South Carolina before assuming the role of Lieutenant Governor.

 

Governor McMaster's leadership continues to shape South Carolina's trajectory, emphasizing prosperity, security, and progress for its citizens.
